I am spotting and bleeding in this particular cycle. Taking deviry 10 mg twice a day for mild cystic hyperplasia at the age 48. Taking since 2 months. Last month spotting was less. This month it has increased. Getting regular periods in between too. Should I increase dosage of deviry to thrice a day?

Hello, Nowadays we use only two terms with respect to endometrial hyperplasia 1) hyperplasia without atypia 2) atypical hyperplasia your case is a case of hyperplasia without atypia and the recommended treatment id continuous use of oral progesterone (deviry- 10 to 20 mg daily) for 6 months or the better option is I intrauterine application of mirena. In your case the dose of deviry is fine, no need to increase. Irregular bleeding or spotting is usual while on deviry. So don't worry. A word of advice. Try to loose weight and keep your blood sugar in control. These prevents further hyperplasia.
