Hi Sir, I took mifty kit within 48 days of pregnancy in the following way 1 misoprostol and after around 18 hrs took 2 mifepristone by putting it under my tongue until it dissolved and after 14 hrs took 1 mifepristone by placing it under my tongue and 1 by putting the pill in my vagina as deep as I could with my finger. Although I started to bleed in about 30 mins from taking the 2 mifepristone the fist time and bled for exactly 7 days and my has periods stopped now. Was this the correct procedure to terminate the pregnancy? When can I check again for pregnancy with a home pregnancy kit for confirmation? And when can I expect for my next periods to happen?

The procedure and the dose you used was not as per recommendation. These drugs should only be taken under supervision and baseline investigations. In 5% of cases of medical abortion there may be heavy bleeding or incomplete abortion requiring hospital admission and subsequent management. Nevertheless, it seems you are fine, as bleeding has stopped. Two weeks after the medical abortion you do your urine for pregnancy test once more. Ideally usg should be done to exclude retained products.
