mumps is a viral infection which is self limiting ,so no role of antibiotics...but if there is secondary bacterial infection,it can be prescribed....for fever use only paracetamol, maintain hydration

Ya, you should use. Antibiotic is necessary to avoid secondary bacterial infection which is very common in such cases. Hope this will help you. Get well soon.
