Dear Azhar, Except Bipolar disorder and Dysthymia, all other common depressions are treated for 6 months or so. Rivotril is usually given only for 3-6 weeks till the antidepressant takes action. Libotryp is an old antidepressant. Now a days, better antidepressants with lesser side effects are available. Please consult the doctor every 2-3 weeks for better management.
