After starting insulin for last fortnight, blood sugar (fasting) of my wife has gone up from 176 to 216. My physician isn?t giving much attention to this. Please give your advise.

Sometimes the physician advises to observe the blood sugar levels over a period of time to assess how the body responds to the insulin. The changes in the treatment plan is done after continuous observation so that ample time is given to the body to respond and start showing the signs of improvement. She can read about healthy lifestyle changes for effective control of diabetes so that she can learn to take good care of herself without any fear or insecurity.
