What r the main reasons or causes for chronic hard stools. This issue is from a very long time. How much ever I drink water, the water goes out as urine, bt constipation is very severe. I have inflammation in the body. So is it that the reason for hard stools. I even eat a lot of fiber, bt still motion doesn't happen. Would like to know the exact cause.

1) gulping down lots of water won't help you. You need to consume water slowly don't gulp. 2) 1 glass of just more than warm water before dinner and 2glass just before bed will solve your problem for sure. Just follow this for 10 days only.

It is difficult to say in your condition the cause of chronic hard stools. I suggest you can start by taking 30 ml of lactulose in night. Your chronic hard stools could also be a result of underlying disorder .consult a gastroenterologist for further management.
