I have taken seroxat for more than two years for treating anxiety disorders. While taking it, am always fine, but after stopping it, the symptoms come back. I met another doctor lately he said based on my symptoms (sleeping issues i.e waking up intermittently in between sleep, mood swings, palpitations, internal heat, recently having breathing difficulty and also bad thought) that it's depression. So he said I should continue with the seroxat, but am afraid for how long will I now take the drug or is two and half years not long enough for me to take the drug and get over the symptoms? Thanks. Am presently taking amitriptyline, which was recommended to me by another doctor I met earlier before meeting a new one lately who said I should start taking seroxat again. He also gave me zopice, but I haven't started either of the two though. Thanks.
