My son is having Schizophrenia. Doctor prescribed medicine Olimelt 10 mg And Arip 15 mg. Does he require both medicine?

Dear Dhaval, Probably your son is not showing enough improvement with one of the drugs. Increasing olimelt alone may make him put on weight though he may improve. So instead add Arip that may improve him more but not increase his weight. You doctor assessed your son totally how much sleep he requires, how much weight he can put on, etc. Just follow your doctor's instruction instead of only one of the drugs prescribed.
