I am 78 years old and am an acute patient of hyperacidity for the last 20 years .have been taking pantoprazole/ocid/reverse etc since then and do not complain heartburn. My question is, what are the side effects. Recently I have been given to understand that it makes bones fragile. i am also suffering from osteoporosis and am taking calcium of and on, not regularly. kindly advise me whether should I discontinue prazole or continue.
