My blood pressure is 97-166 what can I do for normal blood pressure? Please suggest me.

Dear lybrateuser, - Follow some lifestyle measures to reduce BP: - have a salt restricted diet, also avoid fried & fat containing foods, also pickles, papads & namkeens, restrict tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day if you have more, avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - have more of fibre containing foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, have low fat milk and dairy products, healthy fats as in fish, olive & canola oil for cooking, avocados, nuts and seeds like flax, chia & sesame - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, cycling & yoga to relax your mind and body - sleep well for at least 7-8 hrs at night, keep your sleep and wake up time fixed - de-stress by listening to music or do meditation and deep breathing or follow a hobby - reduce weight by diet and exercise if overweight - try these measures for 2-3 months , if not much improvement then you will require investigations & medication to lower your BP.
