Crown is used over existing tooth to protect it if it has undergone a significant loss of tooth structure or has been treated with root canal treatment, where as an implant is a replacement for missing tooth. If you have one or some of your front teeth missing, you can go for a bridge which includes a ceramic tooth with crowns attached to it to get support from adjacent teeth. You can also go for implant if you don't wish to go for bridge. Both have their own pros and cons. You can get a better opinion from your dentist. He/She will examine your condition and let you know which option will be most suitable for you.
