dear Suresh, i hope the fungal infection was confirmed by KOH testing. for tinesa infection of the groins and thighs a minimum treatment of 6-8 weeeks is recommmended. therefore you must have continous tretament for it to completely erdicate your infection. moreover to avoid reinfection you need to practice some general precautions like keeping these area clean and dry; maintaining general hygiene, avoid sharing clothes and towels, using antifungal dusting powder; treating any associated nail infections if present. hope that helps
