Hello doctor, I am planning to marry my own cousin (my mother's own brother child). Is there any precautions to avoid genetic problems for my baby or do we need to take any medication or treatment before marriage? As of now, I am just planning to marry her but based on your advise only I can move further.

You can marry. There are some homoeopathic medicine which you both can take according to the requirements and especially when planning for the pregnancy.
