My mom had tooth ache and a doctor had suggested RCT. After the first sitting the pain increased and the doc kept giving pain killers even after 2-3 sitting. After 2-3 sitting he recommended another doc and the second doc said it's full of infection and c too has given some antibiotics and pain killer. tomorrow she said she would be taking the tooth off. Is is recommended? It's been 3 weeks after the 1st sitting and the tooth is open. I don't trust the doc at my place. Looking for genuine response at this time what should be the best treatment. My mom is still in pain and the doc want to take the tooth out tomorrow. Please help. Docs in my place are more into money than service. Thanks in advance. Note some blisters are there near the tooth and gum which has not been reduced even after the antibiotics.

Hi. Get an X-ray done for the tooth, it will clarify the condition of the tooth. It will decide whether Root Canal would be successful or the tooth will go for extraction/ removal.

Can you please post x-ray of her tooth and any other associated history.

I think, by this time-tooth must be in very bad condition, so it's better to get the x-ray done n get the tooth removed, and save her from further pain. blisters may be due to infection or having side effect of antibiotics. So, please give her vitamin supplements as Vitamin B, complex.
