My periods were from October 2 to October 5. I had sex with my friend on October 10 night. I took an i pill on the next morning that is October 11. (within 12 hrs). But today after six days of having i pill I am bleeding. Is bleeding normal after having i pill?

Hello- Although not a common side effect, the hormones in the pills (either progestin alone or progestin combined with estrogen) can cause some women to bleed at unexpected times. If that is the cause of your bleeding, it is not dangerous and you should expect it to go away by itself after you get your next period.
