My 30 year old son suffers from kidney stones. First noticed in 2014 and then in July this year 3 mm and 4 mm in each kidney. One was stuck in the other and was very painful. Had to take injections for the pain. Now CT scan shows all clear. 1) CT scan is reliable 2) creatinine and uric acid levels high. Is this harmful to the kidneys in the long run? Taking meds for this. 3) likelihood of recurring kidney stones. How does one prevent this. A) water b) diet?
