What you call" a bubble at the top of his head. Is caput succedaneum which is seen in almost all normal deliveries and will spontaneously resolve in 2-3 weeks and no treatment or massage is not needed and should not be attempted .Caput succedaneum is normally a harmless complication of vaginal delivery. Swelling and bruising should subside within days of birth. An increased risk of jaundice is the only consistently-reported complication caused by caput succedaneum, usually confined to cases in which bruising is present on a child's scalp.
