My mother gets auditory hallucinations in the night. She complains of listening to voices & suspects that my neighbors are talking to my father on phone (which is not true as only she hears those voices & no one else do no). She is kind of insecure & when I have consulted doctors, they said she is suffering with Paranoia & need to be medically treated. But she never accepts that they are not real but auditory hallucinations. When I took her to the doctor, he explained her situation with an example but even then she is not ready to accept her medical condition & she is not taking medicines. We tried convincing in many ways, but no use. This issue is becoming serious & we have no idea, how deal with this. Kindly suggest something.
