A medical condition wherein children experience severe mood swings, ranging from extreme happiness to extreme sadness/depression, is referred to as Bipolar Disorder in children. Although it is more common in older teenagers, any age group can be affected by this condition. Children with this disorder have short tempers and behavioral problems. The chances of having ADHD (Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder) increase in children who have this condition.
