My mother is having pain in her left foot near the ankle and it has swollen (any bone is not broken). She is having the problem since last 3-4 years. Most of the times the pain lasted for few days and then it gets normal. But this time her pain is not getting over. What should I do or to which doctor should I take her? (Am worried if she has got filaria, if she has then how to diagnose it and cure it)

U should visit to the physiotherapist. Also keeo her leg elevated while she is on bed. Start slight exercises like ankle toe movement and heel sliding.
