Hello, You can't prevent keratosis pilaris, but you can keep your skin moist to lessen its effects. Some simple things can help keep your skin comfortable: Don't scratch at the bumps or rub your skin roughly. Use warm water rather than hot for bathing and showering. Limit your time in the water. Try soap that has added oil or fat. Use thick moisturizers generously on the skin. Add moisture to the air in your home with a humidifier. Use only cotton clothes. Drink 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Eat vitamin A, C and E rich food. Medicaton: Use Schwabe's Skin Care bathing bar. Keep your skin moisturized, use Schwabe's Aloe Vera cream on body after bathing. Take homoeopathic medicines ? Schwabe's Silicea 6x and Calcarea Fluor. 12X ? both to be taken thrice daily for 1 month. There after, revert back to me for further guidance.
