My wife is 12 weeks pregnant. She complains of left upper chest pain, left shoulder and left hand pain, sometimes slight pain in chin (left side), and lower abdomen pain in left side. Ectopic pregnancy has been ruled out (though tests). Our doctor says she (wife) needs to rest more and drink water more. There is no cause for much concern. My question is - is her assessment right? Left side issues seem to point towards cardio case. But then, in pregnancy case, most of medical wisdom gets upturned. BP in the range of 60-80 is acceptable. (wife's is 60-100 by the way). So is out doctor right? Will wife be stuck with her odd pains for the rest of her pregnancy and would that be normal?
