I was having UTI infection and was prescribed citralka along with antibiotics after culture test. The last urine test has indicated pus cell 3-4 and antibiotic course has been completed. Now as a preventive measures how long I should continue to take citralka. Whether there is harm if I continue for long.

There is no need t o continue citralka The Citralka or disodium hydrogen citrate is used in urinary tract infection to give relief to patients suffering from discomfort. The medicine is also known to decrease the chances of uric acid stones in a nascent stage of uricosuric therapy
