I usually have periods for only 2 to 3 days. This time I had it only for 2 days. On 4th day I had sex. I bleed a little during the sexual intercourse but not too much. I took an ipill on the 12th hour from intercourse. It has been 15 days since but since but I haven't experienced any sort of light bleeding or withdrawal bleeding. I had taken ipill quite a few times in the past years and whenever I took it I experienced light bleeding within 10 days. So why didn't I bleed this time? Did the pill fail? Why haven't I still experienced any withdrawal bleeding or light bleeding yet?

A very common side effect of taking i-pill is a significant alteration in periods ?they can either be early or be delayed. Most women will experience withdrawal bleeding at the scheduled or expected dates, while some may get menses within 5 days. If you get periods earlier then expected, you can be assured that pregnancy has not taken place, but in case of delay in periods, it is best to take a pregnancy test one week over the expected date. This is largely a rare occurrence.
