Hi Sir, I'm 20 years old and for the past year, I've been having suicidal thoughts and I've tried to commit suicide more times than I can remember. I also regularly self harm. I'm okay in social situations, but my anger is very unpredictable. Even small things anger me a lot. I start shouting first, then I either self harm or seriously try suicide and then feel guilty for shouting at others. Later I feel completely empty. I also have fear and hate people disliking me or leaving me. I've consulted a psychiatrist today and he wasn't nice, to be honest. He said I'm selfish and bad, and then said I'm ungrateful and should improve my lifestyle. He then went on to give me medication of dicorate er 125 mg. Is his diagnosis even correct? Is this medicine harmful? I heard that it is given for mania. I sleep to avoid my depressive feelings and suicidal thoughts most of the time. Any thoughts?
