I was told 6 years ago that I have hypothyroidism by my doc. I have been taking synthroid ever since but my TSH kept going up and they kept adjusting the dose. My fatigue and weight gain were so depressing. I finally went to an endo a couple days ago and not only found out I have Hashimoto's Autoimmune Disease but also maybe Cushing's. My symptoms are too long to list but does anyone know if there is a link between Hashimoto's and Cushing's? Can someone have both at the same time.

Hashimoto's autoimmune disease is cause of hypothyroid and is due to production of antibodies to own thyroid gland. You have to take thyroid hormone supplement in sufficient dose to control hypothyrood stat. Hshimoto's hypothyroid and cushing's may be found simultaneously but very rare.
