Can cancer have a particular odour like I had a family member who passed away and at that moment had a distinctive smell and from past 2 days I am able to smell the same odour from one of my family member. Although no discomfort or anything is with the member. The passed away member had prostate cancer. So is it my delusion ?although the smell is the same.

Hello User... the odor may be of the died person's discharges... and cancer have no particular odor... and sometimes we get olfactory hallucinations also after some deep impressions on our mind... so better ignore it.

No don't worry any particular smell itself is not a sign of any cancer.

When someone has died of cancer it's highly likely to have such offensive odours for the people around the patient. It's because of some kind of secondary infections at and beyond the Tumor site. Don't you worry. Just maintain hygiene well at home.
