I was earlier attached to various high turnover oncology centers as Medical Oncologist at command Hospitals of, Kolkata Chandimandir and Pune, after which I was promoted to the rank of Brigadier and was posted at the Prestigious Army hospital R&R as HOD Oncology. After serving as a doctor in armed forces for almost 30 years, I opted for voluntary retirement. Having had a rich experience of 16 years in general medicine and 16 years in oncology. I have attended numerous courses and workshops and visited numerous cancer hospitals of repute. In addition to this, I also have a vast teaching experience and have been involved in the training of Graduates & Postgraduate in Medicine and Oncology

My husband's age 74 yrs, due to prostrate cancer his turp done in the year 2017. Doctor suggested to take caluran cp50. From that time continuing caluran cp50. Should he continue. Recent psa 0.003.

Bicalutamide can be given only for a month or so but as effect is good than continue but this is not standard treatment I would advise hormone therapy with leuprolide or zoladex irbil orchidectomy.
