My father aged 64 suffered a heart attack and underwent angioplasty in January 2017. He recovered fast but experienced palpitations a couple of times till July 2017. He was advised MPI test which was conducted in November 2017. Since then three attacks of sinus tachycardia have caused unexpected panic. Now the doctors are recommending EPS/RFA test. Is it really required or medicines can manage this condition?

EPS report is for the diagnosis purpose that is there any abnormalities in your father's electrical system. RFA is to treat that abnormalities or abnormal cells by burning it. As your father has 3 attacks already that's why they are suggesting this. You should go for it.
