Doctor, I am now 6 weeks pregnant. Before being pregnant I did consult a doctor and she prescribed me folic acid tablet (folwin! But I started intake of folic acid only after the confirmation of pregnancy. Doctor suggested me to take folic acid (night after food). After being pregnant I started taking folic acid at night after food. Now I am confused if after being pregnant should I intake folic acid at morning after food? Or taking in night after food is fine? Please reply doctors. I am in a confusion!

Folic acid should be taken after food preferably at night. Although you may take it in any time of the day, but fix the time i.e. Morning/afternoon/night. I advise my patients to take it after dinner in the night. Wish you a healthy pregnancy period.
