My wife is 26 years old having schizophrenia about 5 years. But the negative and positive symptom now irritating so much for recent time. He was taken psychotic medicine such as luradox, peridol, tiapine (when feels worse) and 15 days before she was taken injection fluanxol depot 40 mg. After that a nonstop thinking about my ex gf. Her complain she (my ex gf) always disturbing her and makes my wife irritated. The way of thinking is real to her. Note that my wifes elder brother is also schizophrenic. We have 3 years and 7 month baby boy.

Hello, I can understand the problem you are facing. Schizophrenia have family loading. You have to understand what she is doing is because of the illness. She has no touch with the reality and once she will improve these symptoms will go away. Medications are not magic pills and it usually take some time to control symptoms. Being patient here for few days is the key. Fluanxol is a long acting injections. This injection will take care of her symptoms even when she don't take her medication. If she is difficult to manage at home get her admitted. Please note- Take full course of each medication at adequate dosage as suggested before changing to other drug.
