I have stop chewing tobacco and use to take lycostar tab every night. My question is how would I know that I am having cancer as I cannot open mouth widely?

Please show to a head and Neck Surgeon or a Surgical oncologist. Let them assess the mouth opening. It can be reduced due to submucosal fibrosis or due to trismus. We assess the mouth opening and advise regarding exercises for increasing the same. Also Tablets containing lycopene (the Luycostar) can help in sub mucosal fibrosis if taken for long period, but the benefit is a few mm, Sometimes hyaluronidase injections may help. If trismus is too severe and not responding to conservative treatment, we consider coronoidectomy and insertion of bilateral nasolabial flap or rarely FRAFF. Assessment can be done with endoscope if mouth opening is too less. Please see a specialist as trismus, i.e. Reduced mouth opening in itself may be a sign of cancer which has infiltrated the muscles of mastication i.e.pterygoids.
