Hi, I have high ige levels of 1048 what does it mean and is there any problem with increased ige levels? When I searched in internet some where I read that ige levels related to hiv and I got panic I dindnt exposed for any thing. But 3 months before I got checked my full cbc count in normal small lab I dnt knew they used sterile needle or not. I am experiencing itching on hands so I went to doc he suggested me some tests like serum ige and also I said my experience of going to small lab for full cbc count 88 days back and he suggested me to check for hiv elisa antibody if you had a doubt and it came negative. So I am fully confused but the doc told me that itching caused by some allergy reaction is it true? Does ige levels interrupt hiv testing? But doc said it was due to allergic reaction.
