Hello, There are various options for keloids from silicone gel creams, intralesional steroid, 5Fu Botox, Cryo surgery etc. First you can start with intra lesional steroid injection once in 3 wks you may need 4-6 sessions for it to become flat. What you need to understand is there is no cure it only control. Once its flat with treatment you have to observe and repeat treatment when it starts to come back. Surgery when done alone has more than 70% chance of recurrance and infact can become bigger than previous one. So its important to Do intralesional excision and give steroid after surgery. Consult a plastic surgeon.
