Hello, I'm going on a vacation this week with my girl, and this might end up in both of us being in bed together (we've had sex before). Whenever we've had sex in the past, we've always been very cautious about it, like calculations based on the menstrual cycles, using condom. Here's my concern, we like it when there's no condom between us, but that's risky, even after the calculations of periods. What alternatives (like contraceptive pills) can she or I take in order to avoid any unwanted pregnancy. Please note that she's never used contraceptive pills (regular or otherwise) before, so allergies, etc (if any) are to be taken care of. Also, how are the pills to be taken, any order, their possible side effects, etc. P.S. It is well understood that even pills aren't 100% effective, so any other better alternatives are welcome.

Hi lybrate-user. I appreciate your concern. Pills are the solution but the side effects are too severe. So my suggestion is to use condoms or calendar method.
