My dad using insulin 40u mrng 28u and night recently doctor added gluformin 500 mg tab after lunch. It is right to take tab while we continuing insulin. Please tell me sir?

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. T2 diabetes is usually treated with oral drugs initially. In some cases if blood glucose control is not adequate, then Insulin injections are added. So there are many patients who are given both oral tablets and insulin to achieve proper control of blood glucose. Thanks.
