Before entering his room, sit in your room for ten minutes, breathe deeply, close your eyes ,go back to your Memory Lane, visualise that you're two years old and sitting on your father's lap ,that you are five years old and playing with him, that you are 10 years old and going to school holding your father's finger. Make his room lively by some decorative things. Play nice soothing music.
These all activities will reduce your anxiety and you will feel better and relaxed.
