I have blocked nose from past few months, it opens for some time and is blocked again I also have throat infection from past 2-3 days Same infection at same place was there 7 days aago l, I took 2 dose of althrocin 250 mg and the infection was gone, but it came back from 2 days The pain is less now as I haven't smoked from 2 days, please tell how much serious it is and is it because of smoking.

If you are having a blocked nose and this problem has been persistent, then you may be having a chronic sinusitis. Get an X-Ray PNS done and consult an ENT specialist. If the throat infection keeps on recurring, this may also be related to the persistent sinusitis. You may have to take a course of Antibiotics. Besides, you need to take Steam Inhalation and do Warm saline gargle twice a day for one month. Do let me know if this helped.
