My wife age 31 is suffering from hand pain (jhan jhan aahat) since six month. Her sugar test and thyroid test are normal. In x- ray report cervical spondylosis detected. She is under going physiotherapy. But not getting relaxed. Please suggest what can I do.

The (Jhan-Jhhanaahat) is called as Paraesthesia in medical language. It can be due to different reasons: Endocrine issue like Thyroid, Diabetes, acromegaly, myxodema etc. It can be due to any trauma at hand After pregnancy it happens in some females. It can be due to Median Nerve compression at Carpal tunnel or Forearm or at Scalene muscle or at the Brachial plexus, the nerve root responsible for it may be (C5-C6 ), or (C6-7) or (C6-8, T1) Consult with me for detailed questions about the problem so that I can refer you to the most appropriate Specialist.
