The heel pain at older age could be due to tiny bony growth on your heel bone called calcaneal spur (or heel spur), or high uric acid level called gout, inflammation of the thick layer (plantar fascia) lies over the heel bones called plantar fasciitis, inflammation of the thick tendon lies back of your heel called achilles tendinitis, low calcium level or low Vit D3 level. So to know what has happened you can consult to your orthopedic doctor. You can do this few things to get relieve from the pain- deep your leg in warm water for 2 minutes and then again to cold water for 2 minutes likewise. If the Vit d or calcium level is low then can take it after doctor consultation. Thank you.
