Sleep is not coming for me. Daily I sleep around 1. Please help me to sleep early, I want deep sleep and I want to sleep at least 8 hours.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Try to change your bedtime at night & sleep an hour or two early, for that get up early in the morning, do regular exercise like walking, yoga & meditation, keep yourself busy & active the whole day - do not take a nap for more than 20-30 min in the day, if you have to then take a nap early afternoon - restrict tea, coffee to 2-3 cups/ day or less, avoid taking it after 4 o'clock as taking a caffeinated drink late can hamper sleep, stop watching TV, mobile or a laptop 2 hrs before sleep time, read or listen to light music - have a warm water bath before going to bed in the night, also a cup if warm milk as they are sleep inducing - sleep & wake up on the same time even on a weekend as the body & brain follows a circadian rhythm - the bedroom should have a comfortable temperature, be dark & no sound be there - have a light dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime & avoid water before bedtime as it can disturb sleep & also make it difficult to fall asleep - a busy day will help you fall asleep early since you are tired.
