Hello lybrate-user, Let me tell you something, our stomach is a bit like balloon, the more you blow air into it it will get bigger, the lesser you blow air into the lesser it will stretch. In case of our stomach also, the same thing happens. The more we eat and fill our stomach, its capacity increases, and if we are able to keep it maintained then we succeed. Your problem is vice-versa of what I mentioned above. So for this you can try having small small quantities of food at a time but multiple times a day. Like if you used to have 3 meals a day, make it 6 times. Its not important that you are having a large meal or not, what is important is to keep on giving what our body needs in a day. Now what you can eat, may be your next question, you can start your day with a cup of tea or coffee or a cup of double toned milk with two or three biscuits followed by a carbohydrate rich breakfast. Now since you have a problem of eating so try having food stuffs like, aloo parantha, paneer parantha with raita (even you can have only 1 of it that will also do), sweet corn salads, pulav, poha, etc. Then after 1.5 hrs or 2 hrs have a whole fruit, then again in lunch eat a bit of chapati or rice with daal and a curry (if you feel that you can only have one side dish at a time then try drinking daal after you eat 1 or 2 chapatis with a side dish). Then again something like may be juice or lassi followed by an evening snack. Like this you got to increase your metabolism, then only you will be put on weight (by put on weigh I mean, it will be visible). I hope this will be helpful to you. Thank you. Have a nice day!
