Hi I 37 years old I am diabetic since 13 years. On insulin twice a day. I had angiogram 2 years ago with one blockage of 60%. I was a smoker but its been 2 years I have quit smoking completely. Now the medicines I am taking is metocard xl twice a day. clopitab A 75 once and tonact 40 once. My question is I feel good now but how long do I have to take these tablets. Ll.

Throughout life. Allopathy controls well, does not cure diabetes etc. My suggestion is to switch to herbals gradually, initially taking it parallel to allopathy with some gap. No interaction of herbs with your current medicines. However you can not take the risk of quitting allopathy abruptly. Its not a matter of weeks or months but of years but there will not be side effects. But you may hope to see new lease of life with improvement in quality of life. Deep breathing, meditation, food modifications, light exercises, walking, light yoga will all be helpful Pl consult online for any query.
