I had my last period on 29th of june, then I had a unprotected sex on 11th of july and took IPILL on 13th of july. Now my period had started on 21st july. The colour of my blood is dark red sometime brown also and I am having cramps too. My period is comparatively light than usual but it is still continuing till today that is the 10th day of my cycle with the same flow and cramp. I had also did a pregnancy test on my 5th day, but it showed negative results. I had checked it just once and now I am feeling afraid of getting pregnant. I am really very confused that it is my period or not and also before starting of my period I had some brown spotting too. And yesterday night I saw in pad black blood in colour. Why my period is so long. Please reply me out Asap.

Dear user. TO CAUSE PREGNANCY on a woman, sperm should be ejaculated inside the vagina or fresh sperm should be inseminated inside the vagina with some means during the fertility period of the woman. There are many determinants of pregnancy. You should be sexually matured. Your partner should be sexually matured. The period of your partner should be in the fertile stage. Her egg and your sperm cells should be healthy enough. Then her uterus should be capable to get conceived. If all these were satisfied, the pregnancy could be a result. Semen do not pass through clothes to make pregnancy. Sex during periods does not cause pregnancy. Usually precum do not contain any sperm cells. Period means disintegration of the uterus membrane which is meant to be for the child. Swallowing male sperm cannot cause pregnancy. In the given case, there are less chances of pregnancy.
