My mom is a diabetic patient she got wound on her hand finger nail side nd it's been 4 days she went nd took tt injection nd got some bandage on that but it's not going it become yellow filled with pus I'm so much worried what I can do to which doctor I can take her.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. From the description it appears to be a paronychia infection, which affects part around the nail. It is a very painful condition. If it has become yellow, means there is pus collection. That has to be drained and cleaned then dressed. It will take a few days to heal. She may need a course of antibiotic for 5 to 7 days. There is no need to worry so much. I do not undestand what injection is given when the infection is just developing. There is absolutely no need. She should also control her blood glucose strictly, because high glucose can hinder healing. Thanks.
