Hello doctor, I am about 19 year old male, my problem is that I am a thin male. *at breakfast I am not able to eat more than 1chapaati. *at lunch I eat about a plate of rice with dal. *at dinner I eat about 5-6chapaati. ****please sir or mam suggest me. thank you.

Hello lybrate-user, your weight is very less according to your height. First don't skip your breakfast because breakfast is very important meal in whole day and should provide energy. Eat so first you will set your eating timings.in breakfast eat heat healthy and balanced diet include milk oats, paneer sandwich/eggs/omelette/sprouts with milk. Take high protein and high calories diet. Add milk sakes, fruit shakes, icecreams, puddings, sweet dishes etc. Avoid bad fats like deep fried items, use healthy oils like soybean, canola oil, olive oil etc. In fruits eat extra bananas and mangoes.

You need to change the pattern of your diet like include shakes (mango, litchi,banana, strawberry) if you are non-vegetarian you can include boiled eggs in your diet, soya bean, cheese, butter, all dairy products etc. Do not eat 5-6 chapati at one time balance the meal like have 2-3 chapati in lunch and then 2-3 chapati in dinner and include salad in your diet. Do not skip your meals have frequent meals.
