My husband is suffering from fever from 12-13 days. He was admit in metro.in ctscan report shows every thing is OK but left sided mild pleural effusion with basal atelectasis few lymph nodes in pretracheal and prevasular regions largest measuring approximately 10 mm in short axis. Dr. not described the report and give medicine and said fever will not come above 101. But still temperature is showing 102.3.pls help that why it is happening. What is meaning of report?

Pleural effusion means that there is some fluid in the lung and three lymph nodes indicate that the is an infection. Get a second opinion and continue treatment in case you are not satisfied with the doctor who is treating your husband. I do hope that he is still admitted in a hospital.
