I am 23 weeks pregnant, and my SGPT Levels - Alanine Transaminase have come high this time - 39.4 U/L. Whereas the normal range is 10-28. Kindly advise what could be the reason and what should I do about it?

during pregnancy sometimes levels of liver enzymes go up and reason is not known eat liver friendly diet like no fat or heavy spices, lots of simple proteins like toned milk and curds and lassi Boiled eggs Steamed fish etc. lots of water and. coconut water. seasonal vegetables and fruits and iron folic acid calcium tablets as suggested by your doctor. enzymes levels will remain stable and not rise more.

Avoid fat food,spicy food.take plenty of water.take food having high fibre..take glucose water.lots of fruits...
