Inhalers do not have any side effects at as the drug is not taken inside and it reaches only the mucosal lining of respiratory tract . Only absorbed drug is metabolised by liver and some are liver toxic while some are toxic to kidneys

Hi Lybrate-user, Inhalers do not have any adverse effect on liver. Some inhalers have steroids in them. These may cauSe some adverse effect in very high dose. However In most cases inhalers are safe even in long term.
