Dear sir, My husband following routine test was done for lipid profile and urine. Result as stated below. Serum cholesterol - 191.0 mg/dl H.D.L cholesterol- 49.0 mg/dl L.D.L cholesterol - 115.0 mg/dl V.L.D.L cholesterol- 40.4 mg/dl Serum Triglycerides - 202.0 mg/dl Urine test Colour- Light yellow Sp. Gravity- Q.N.S Reaction- Acidic Protein- Absent Sugar- Absent Microscopic Examination Pus Cells- Present. 3-4/HPF Red Cells- Absent Epithelial Cells- resent. 1-2/HPF Cast- Present, Granular Crystal- Absent What precaution to be taken. What does Urine test cast means. Pls advice.
